Feeling Unwelcome in a Foreign Country

Plot twist: I never ended up getting those macaroons.

p.s. The day after the famed bus incidences, I was on a tram when a non-German woman started talking comically loud (in a foreign language) next to me. I chuckled for a second and thought, "man, I would have to be really angry inside to ever consider going up to that woman and yelling at her for how 'rude' she's being". Which made me realize that the woman who yelled at me with such rage on her face the day before must have just been in a really, really bad place. It's a funny, plot-twisty world.
