1) Take the time to write down how you feel when you get triggered. Prepare your mind so it can more easily OBSERVE rather than react when triggered.
2) Acknowledge when you are experiencing a trigger.
3) Decide what OUTCOME you want rather than REACT and REINFORCE an old patterned response you wish to BREAKTHROUGH.
a) Accept how you feel b) feel and acknowledge how your body responds to stressors that cause triggers c) decide what you can and cannot control and take an ACTION step in the direction of your desired outcome.
