The All India Football Federation ended the long and extensive search for the next coach of the Indian men’s football team by appointing Croatia’s Igor Stimac at the head coach on Wednesday. As many as 250 applications were received by the AIFF from across the globe for the coveted job and the technical committee pruned it down and interviewed the final four from which Stimac emerged as the ‘unanimous’ choice.
