During the Kabir Singh trailer launch, Shahid Kapoor says Kabir Singh movie is very similar to Arjun Reddy. He doesn't like to be called as it is being Bollywood. Director Sandeep also commented in this saying Arjun Reddy is a character-driven film. The trailer of Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh has released. The romantic thriller is a remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy where Shahid a.k.a Kabir Singh plays a stubborn, self-destructive, angry young man, which shows his life both before and after the heartbreak from Pretty a.k.a Kiara Advani. Shahid goes from being a tenderhearted lover to a bearded smoker and alcoholic. This movie was directed by Arjun Reddy’s director Sandeep Vangathe. The film is set to hit the screens on June 21.
