If you think it’s been awhile since we’ve heard a new recording from renowned R&B/jazz saxophonist Ronnie Laws…you would be right. However, you should know that “Settle Down” is the latest single (released June 16, 2017) from this legendary and national recording artist. But if you think we may not be hearing more music from Ronnie Laws any time soon…you would be wrong. Word has it that he has been in the studio. Ronnie Laws is the younger brother of jazz flautist Hubert Laws and brother to singer(s) Eloise and Debra Laws. The Laws’ family were instrumental in producing and enhancing the flow of R&B jazz sounds that flourished throughout the 70s and 80s. Ronnie Laws started out in the early 70s as a member of the group Earth, Wind, & Fire. His solo career in music spans from 1975 to present with an impressive discography of successful singles and albums.
