Every year the police across England have a Gun Amnesty where citizens can hand in firearms without threat of conviction . across west midlands and Manchester nearly 150 guns so far handed in, including ,mack 10 submachine guns, uzi and shotguns by the dozen.
One of the most dangerous so far was a ww2 bren machine gun handed in in Manchester this month .
The amnesty is on until August and you can check what police stations are doing it online .
