Applications have been invited from qualified female candidates for appointment to the vacancies of Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Assistants in the Anganwadi Centers under the 7 Child Development Planning Centers functioning under the Department of Women and Child Development in Chikkamagaluru District. The procedure for applying for the qualification selection preference agenda for this appointment is briefly described herein.

Age Limit:
The minimum age limit of general candidates for Anganwadi Workers and Assistant posts is set at 18 years. Maximum age limit is 35 years. For full information on age limit, follow the notification on the official website.
Eligibility:
The ECEELC must have passed the posts of Anganwadi Workers and scored at least 219 marks out of 625 marks in the Tenth Class Examination. Kannada should be studied as a first or second language even if studied in different states. Candidates who have passed the ESCELC in open universities run by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board must have studied Kannada and General Mathematics and Social subjects as a first or second language. Minimum 4 th and maximum 9th grade should be completed for the post of Anganwadi Assistants.
The method of choice
Within 7 days after the deadline for filing the application, a panel of experts will convene a meeting to review the applications and publish a temporary list. Candidates are given 7 days time to file an objection if there are any objections to this option list. Then the final selection list will be published and the respective District Deputy Director will issue the appointment order.
Preference of choice
Priority is given to local candidates who have applied, especially women who have suffered acid attacks and disabled women are given priority in recruiting, but physical disability should not exceed 60 per cent. Minority language preference is preferred with Kannada language in areas where more than 25 per cent minorities are in the local area.
