China's top legislature has passed the country's first law on vaccine administration. Under the law, the whole process from researching and developing to administering the vaccine will be carried out under supervision. Producers and sellers acting against the law will be subject to harsh punishment. Companies manufacturing or selling fake vaccines may also face fines of up to 50 times the value of the vaccine.
