EP246 - Do the DIY procedures void PHEV warranty?

Some owners have no their own MUT device and are doing home brew-procedures. I did some quick research if for example chip tuning void your manufacturer warranty and if this can be applied to the self made resets, DBCAMs and other procedures people do with their car.
