Right before Matt's hospitalization, he was working on polishing up the custom headers build by our good friend Ben DeAngeli. Now that Matt is back at it, he is going to show his process for polishing the stainless exhaust. Matt first takes the DA with 600 grit paper and removes all of the tooling marks and other imperfections from the surface of the pipe. After that he moves over to the Eastwood Buff Motor to cut and polish the exhaust. He starts on the tightly sewn wheel with the stainless compound to cut it in. Matt then moves to the lightly sewn wheel with White Rouge compound to achieve that mirror polish. Once polished he removes and compound with some paint pre-prep and mounts the exhaust onto the car!
