Accurizing the AR15 on the cheap: How to shim a barrel extension for a tight fit.

This is a brief video explaining how to shim a barrel extension to eliminate sloppy fitment, and accurize your AR15.

That being said, I've tested shimmed vs. unshimmed barrels and have found that in receivers that have sloppy fits, this can improve accuracy noticeably.

This will not make a bad barrel good. It just eliminates one small variable in the quest for accuracy.
