We know that the people of Rayalaseema have long wanted to set up a high court in Kurnool. Lawyers from the Rayalaseema High Court Sadhana Samithi previously met acting Chief Justice of the Hyderabad High Court and urged him to consider setting up the Andhra Pradesh HC in the Rayalaseema region. But the Prior TDP Government set up the High Court in AP Capital Amravathi. Now the AP CM YS Jagan is preparing to setting up the high court bench in Kurnool. All of this is likely to be announced at Independence Day celebrations.
