[HD Please!] This has been made several times before, but all very differently and beautifully from the next, so it was my turn to do one of my own, maybe it kinda is a vent I don't really know, but when doing the dishes I do my best thinking, my best feeling and gain my best ideas, when I heard this song all of this came to mind, and I knew I had to get this done. Here is the final project, it would've been uploaded sooner but the coloring was so difficult to mess with.
Anyway, Bucky isn't alone, he has Sam, and Sam has him, I think people are ignoring how amazing (and personally better) Sam and Bucky's relationship is, in the comics Sam was Bucky's support amost as much as Nat was, and even Sharon was there for him, when Steve came back, it just wasn't the same, Steve controlled him, babied him, didn't have the same respect and love that he once did for Bucky, and I understand Bucky is an adult now and not the 16-year-old kid he once was when Steve first began his journey with Bucky,and Bucky isn't the same man but once reading those comics it helped me understand Steve Rogers better, Steve cares about Bucky, but also has a lot of other things to take care of, he doesn't always side with Bucky even if Bucky is right, and so when watching Endgame and Steve "leaves" Bucky, one Bucky knew he was leaving "I'm gonna miss you, buddy." "It will be okay Buck" They share a similar closeness as they used to (unlike not telling Sam) but it also made me realize Bucky isn't and was never Steve's first priority, he wanted to join the war, because he wanted to HELP people, not wanting to fight alongside Bucky, he felt that was what he needed to do, and then when he met Peggy who the hell was Bucky? You could tell he moved on, and by the end of the whole thing, Steve evidently would choose Peggy if he had the chance to go back. And honestly I wouldn't blame him, you can go back and it doesn't ruin a thing in the present/future? Sign me up! One final thing to mention Bucky made a choice to, he chose to stay and not go back with him, he could've we know that, but he didn't he stayed, he stayed because he moved on, he changed, and he wanted to be with Sam, because he found himself someone a little better than Steve. It doesn't mean he doesn't love Steve and Steve doesn't love him, it means that by the end of the day they both have someone they both care about a little more than each other. So let Steve be happy with Peggy and Bucky to be happy with Sam. (doesn't have to be romantically by the way)
