Story: Jean Grey has been working for Stark Industries for a long time. She and Tony are quite close. She is beside him while he changes the company and becomes Iron Man. Jean and Tony eventually admit their romantic feelings for each other and get together. She is still with him during the rise of Avengers. When Stark creates Ultron and Sokovia is targeted Jean helps during the final battle, saving the people who are left beneath while Sokovia rises. She holds the water that broke through a dam, while also keeping clear a path for people to run away and get to safety. She has to push herself and the Phoenix awakens powering her up to stand just long enough for the Avengers to deal with Ultron and falling Sokovia. When everything shatters she gets the message through the speaker from Tony that everyone is safe. He is looking for her, but Jean knows that she won't survive - not only because she is hard to find in this mess when earth falls from the sky, but also because she feels Phoenix's presence and doesn't want it to take over. So she shares one last look with Tony who managed to find her and lets the water take her, sacrificing herself. Tony is heartbroken, he has nightmares and blames himself for her death, because he was the one to create Ultron. Later, when a woman whose son died in Sokovia confronts him, he feels guilty and returns to the place of the battle. That's where he finds unconscious Jean. He brings her back to Stark Industries. He contacts Professor X, who used to teach Jean before and gets an explanation for the situation and learns about Jean's duality. She awakens and he is sure he can somehow help her. But Zemo also learns about Jean Grey, one of the most powerful mutants, being back. He changes his plan and instead of Bucky uses Jean. He kidnaps her from the Avengers facility, awakens Phoenix and she causes the terrorist attack on a conference in Vienna. Steve finds Bucky on his own and Avengers come together to find Jean. They find her at the Hydra's Siberian base where Zemo took her to. Phoenix fights everyone, however Tony manages to get closer. He tells Jean how important she is to him, awakening her for a moment. She asks him to save her and Tony realises he has to kill her. That's what he does, with heavy heart. After capturing Zemo Tony takes a break from everything. Pepper helps him and over the time they fall in love. After Infinity War they get married and have Morgan. Then Tony decides to help others built the time machine and bring half of the universe back. When he is in Stark Tower after the Battle of New-York he sees Jean alive and well. It's bittersweet for him to see her, but he keeps track on his mission. During the last battle with Thanos and his army Tony gets the stones and snaps, saving everyone and sacrificing himself. Jean welcomes him in the afterlife as a friend.
