Maya Gara (Hold Me) is a song about struggle, being crushed and losing it. The main character in this song is a struggling small time waiter who is trying to make something of his life. He is in love with a girl who is better off than him.

But to add to his misery, she chooses some one else over him. This leaves him brokenhearted and when he finds out she had been meddling with someone else, some one who is richer than him, he loses it.

He also gets fired from his work. Despite giving his best in everything, he has nothing to celebrate and finds himself in a puddle of hurt, deceit and poverty.

Following the turn of events, he has now gone crazy.
