A Quality Assurance officer spends time in each and every academy checking that it's a safe environment for pupils to learn; that there are enough materials; issues are identified, and repairs are carried out. They don't just 'rush in and rush out', they spend time in each school carefully checking that they meet the standards expected by parents.
After they've done their checks they agree with the Academy Manager what needs to be fixed, repaired or addressed to improve our school.
