How would you rate your pet’s dental health? Dogs and cats whose teeth aren’t brushed daily are more susceptible to periodontal disease, but even a pet with spotless teeth can have this disease beneath the gum line.
Clients sometimes ask if we offer dental cleanings without the use of anesthesia. We don’t. Anesthesia is important because serious dental health can be caused by disease beneath the gum line, which can only be detected and treated while pets are under general anesthesia. It also ensures there isn’t any pain or discomfort during the procedure.
