Boris Johnson endured a torrid day in South Yorkshire yesterday as he was pilloried by voters and challenged on his remarks that investigating historical child abuse was a waste of money. During a speech in Rotherham on his domestic agenda, Mr Johnson was heckled by a man who yelled: “Maybe get back to parliament!”
