Top Fuel Nitro Harley Racing can be incredibly unforgiving and expensive. At the NHRA US Nationals veteran Harley drag bike racer Bob Malloy suffered the worst luck of his career when he blew up his motor, had his pit area flooded and got stuck in the mud trying to leave. Malloy, who ran one of the quickest passes in the sport’s history at 6.13 this year, got off to a great start at the US Nationals with a 6.21 to qualifying No. 2 on his Nitro Fish backed Nitro Harley. Then the bad luck set in. The pits became flooded and Malloy really was the Nitro Fish. Then in round No. 1 he was upset when his motorcycle suffered total hydraulic, destroying the heads, the rocker arms the scoops, blowing the butterflies out Injector in more. To cap off a total disaster Malloy’s truck and motorhome got stuck in the mud when he tried to leave.
