Traditional gyms
Traditional gyms where members exercise on their own and focus on their personal routines are actually on their way out! Millennials frankly aren’t that into the way that people used to exercise 20 years ago. They want to make an experience out of it: Socialize, take a class, have a healthy drink, talk about their feelings and add it to their instagram story. Boutique gyms are in: The numbers don’t lie. Cable tv
Millennial are skill sing cable! Waiting a week for the next episode to air is so 1997. Streaming is in and binge watching is the new normal. It’s more time efficient because you don’t have to watch commercials and a netflix account is far cheaper than a cable bill. Especially when you use your roommates sister’s best friends password. Now big players like HBO have adapted to allow viewers to enjoy their shows in more and more devices, so users aren’t dependent on cable to actually watch their content. This puts

Massive, houses
For millennial, showing off wealth as a sign of social position and prestige tends not to be perceived as posh and appealing, but quite the contrary: Owning a massive home with too many unnecessary luxuries is increasingly viewed by millennial as ostentatious and wasteful.
Additionally, the trend with millennial was to move into or around cities where the price of property is much more expensive than the countries rural areas.

Applebees
No one would believe Millenials don’t enjoy eating shout! It takes two seconds to find dozens of restaurants online featuring pictures of delicious-looking dishes. This generation is famous for enjoying a great meal and then boasting about it in their social media accounts.
By the way no one cares about the food you’re eating, ther is no need to post about it. If I could I’d dislike it.
The problem with restaurants like Applebees is that Millenials just aren’t excited about spending their money eating at a place where ‘one size fits all’ seems to be the rule of thumb. Menus are aimed to please certain pre-established groups, instead of focused on individuals and their specific preferences.

Department stores
Shopping in the mall was a defining part of living in the 90s. This is certainly not the case today.
Millennial have begun to show an aversion to spending an entire afternoon strolling around department stores with limited selections and steeper prices when they can instead browse amazon from the comfort of their couch.
With just a click, the can check different websites and make sure the best price and the best product are one and the same.
Another convenient aspect of shopping online is that the products arrive at their doorstep without the need to waste time commuting and waiting in line at a busy store. Millennial tend to appreciate convenience i.e. we’re pretty lazy and there is nothing easier then clicking on a link and buying a shirt

Print news
Kids of the future may not have the option to deliver newspapers as their first job. Nowadays, people in their 20s and even early 30s seem to be far more interested in listening to podcasts or checking twitter to get their nes. Seeing a Millennial carrying around a newspaper is like seeing a vegan carrying around steaksauce.
Growing up with the internet, they are more used to an immediate

The Once massively popular restaurant, Rooters is a chain that was founded 1983 and it had a simple yet innovative concept: pot woman in short shorts serving hot wings and burgers to a mostly male clientele. Seems like a robust business model that would enjoy everlasting success.
