Vanlife Coffee. How to make a great cup of coffee living in a van.

Vanlife Coffee. How to make a great cup of coffee living in a van. Check out our Van tour Video:

In this video i show how we make delicious coffee in the van.
One consideration for us when we started this vanlife journey was coffee. I wanted to be able to keep making delicious coffee even when traveling in the van. My preferred method is and always will be french press. I love the oily and chocolate like flavors you get out of the french press. The one problem, is clean up. Living in a van you learn really fast how easy it is to waste water. I wanted to find a way to make good coffee with minimal cleanup.

My everyday method is to use the Clever dripper. we love this thing. It can be used as a pour over device if you wanted to. But the way it is intended to be used as is kind of a hybrid between pour over and the french press. You add a #4 filter add your coffee, let sit for 3-4 and then dispense your delicious coffee!

Every now and then well make lattes in the van (#dailylattez). The process making lattes is a lot more cleanup and a lot more steps so most days its just the clever dripper.

I hope this video helped any of you. I am buy no means an expert on coffee. There is about 1 million different ways to make great coffee. This is how we do it.

The coffee i drink every day is from Redbird coffee company in Bozeman, MT. Brazil Sweet Blue, hands down my favorite coffee ive ever had.

Im not sponsored by them in any way, I wish i was!
