Daniel Jones Files Trademark for DANNY DIMES

Daniel Jones Files Trademark for DANNY DIMES NFL Giants quarterback Daniel Jones recently filed a trademark for "DANNY DIMES."

The October 15th filing, made by Hermitage Company LLC, lists Daniel Jones as the owner or member of the entity. Moreover, the trademark application lists the address of record as Daniel Jones's parents’ home address in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is arguably an inadvisable move because his parents' home address will now be public record with the USPTO.

As for the trademark application itself, Daniel Jones indicates that he plans to offer Danny Dimes branded computer games, football helmets, clothing, yo-yos, inflatable toys, and more. It’s very likely you will see these branded items in the marketplace soon, as the USPTO requires all applicants to sign an affidavit stating they have a bonafide intent to use the mark on all the items they listed in their application.

This development comes on the heels of another “Danny Dimes” filing made by two men from New York back in September. That application was most likely filed in an attempt to take advantage of Daniel Jones' newfound fame after becoming the starting quarterback of the New York Giants. The application filed by Daniel Jones is likely a reaction to that September filing as he leaps into action to try to protect his Danny Dimes nickname.
