ಮೂಲವ್ಯಾಧಿ ರೋಗ ಲಕ್ಷಣ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಾಗ ತಜ್ಞರ ಬಳಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯದೆ ನಕಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯರ ಬಳಿ ಹೋಗುವುದರಿಂದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ. ನಕಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಂದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆದು ಸಾವಿಗೀಡಾದ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ನಡೆದಿವೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಡಾ.ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರ್‌ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ‘‘ನಕಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯರು ದಾರ ಹಾಕುವುದು, ಆಸಿಡ್‌ ಸುರಿಯುವುದು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾದ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ರೋಗ ನಿವಾರಣೆಯಾಗುವ ಬದಲು ಉಲ್ಬಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ರಸ್ತೆ ಬದಿ ಹಾಕಿರುವ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಫಲಕಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನಕಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯರನ್ನು ನಂಬಬಾರದು,’’ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
