ESIRAS (Employability and Social Integration of Refugees and Asylum Seekers) is an EU project aiming to support the integration of refugees and asylum seekers in society and in the labour market in eight European cities (Glasgow, Graz, Jelling, Ljubljana, Maribor, Milan, Nicosia, and Paris). The project was implemented from January 2018 until August 2019 by a consortium of seven Red Cross National Societies under the lead of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) as contract holder with the European Commission DG Employment (DG EMPL as back donor), through the EU Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI), and with the guidance and technical support of the Spanish Red Cross as project coordinator.
