HOW TO PREP FOR WINTER - PREPAREDNESS PRINCIPLES

HOW TO PREP FOR WINTER - PREPAREDNESS PRINCIPLES Are you prepared for Winter? Winter is a great time for the homesteader to rest, reflect and plan for the coming season and year. But there are some key tasks you need to accomplish to successfully prepare for winter.

In this Pantry Chat, Josh and Carolyn discuss some of their strategies and tasks to consider in getting prepared for winter. They provide basic preparedness principles to get you through winter such as shelter, water, heat, food, power, medical supplies, and communication.

While it’s natural to focus on these things before going into winter, they are great overall preparedness strategies that you should be thinking about year-round to “live prepared.”
