Melting Gallium Spoon (ORIGINAL!)

This demo shows a spoon made of Gallium melting in warm water! Gallium melts at 85 degrees F so it is very easy to melt! If you hold the spoon too long it will even start to melt in your hand! This trick was performed in the late 19th century by chemists at tea parties in Europe! This "disappearing spoon" trick was the go-to prank of many chemists!
Melting a gallium spoon is a physical change because the substance does not change! We can reuse the gallium over and over again!
