S1E2 Explain It Simply For Kids In season 1 episode 2 of "Discovering Strength in the Stories of Others: Conversations with Parents of Children with Intestinal Malrotation," Kaley & Amy share their experiences. It’s not easy for parents to let children know they’ve got a serious or chronic illness like intestinal malrotation. Dr. Bram Raphael is a pediatric GI specialist who has a lot of experience having tough conversations with parents and kids. Dr. Raphael shares his advice with two mothers (Kaley & Amy) about giving children the knowledge they need without unnecessarily frightening them. Kaley and Amy share their own experiences in a candid discussion.
