I may simply be unused to wintry storms, but today's cloud motion seems excessive and wonderful. Some standing-wave patterns emerge. Fog patches intermittently arise from the valley and catch silver in the sun. The camera shifts at 02:58 to capture the approach of an impressive storm front and a faint northern rainbow.
