Basavaraj Bommai Held Meeting With Top Cops at DG-IGP's Office Over Security of Women in the State Alarmed by the recent rape and murder of the Hyderabad vet and Unnao rape case, the Karnataka government is planning to take more security measures. Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai held a meeting with top cops at DG-IGP's office in Bengaluru. The Home Minister discussed measures to ensure the security of women in the state. Basavaraj Bommai addressed the media after his meeting and said since 2015, a total of 5764 pocso cases in the state in which charge-sheets have been filed in 4,945 cases. Bommai also said that cops are waiting for the report from FSL in 326 cases. Bommai also said a total of 1,254 cases has been filed under POCSo in Bengaluru.
