Alarmed by the recent rape and murder of the Hyderabad vet and Unnao rape case, the Karnataka government is planning to take more security measures. Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai held a meeting with top cops at DG-IGP's office in Bengaluru. The Home Minister discussed measures to ensure the security of women in the state. Basavaraj Bommai addressed the media after his meeting and said since 2015, a total of 5764 pocso cases in the state in which charge-sheets have been filed in 4,945 cases. Bommai also said that cops are waiting for the report from FSL in 326 cases. Bommai also said a total of 1,254 cases has been filed under POCSo in Bengaluru. ► Download TV9 Kannada Android App:
