GUARDIOLA: ZIDANE, I DREAMED ABOUT PLAYING ALONGSIDE HIM

Monday’s draw pitted Guardiola’s side against the Spanish giants, who have won the Champions League a record 13 times, with City travelling to the Bernabeu on February 26th for the first leg before the Etihad plays host to the decider on March 17th.

And looking ahead to the two ties, Guardiola revealed it would be a special moment to come face to face with Zidane who was one of the game's most gifted midfielders and a man who, as a player, the City boss admitted he had dreamed of playing against.

“Of course, it is a special moment because he (Zidane) is one of the best,”
