Lithuania's Hindi Speaking Foreign Secy says Hindi is key to future Lithuanian Foriegn Secretary Laimonas Talat Kelpsa is in India and speaks in Hindi. Speaking to our diplomatic correspondent Sidhant Sibal Lithuanian Foriegn Secretary said Hindi and Lithuanian have many common word and similar sounding words. Infact his name Laimonas means Laxman, the FS informed. Both languages have approximately 1500 common words, this depite miles of difference between Lithuania in North Europe and India in South Asia.
