I was listening to a show on how poor people live in the US, specifically southern California, near San Diego. The examples given were people I didn't feel much sympathy for, and the views expressed in the show struck me as very one sided and meant to convince me that people should not be responsible for their own decisions. Needless to say, I disagreed with the premise of the show.
