The First Ever WWF In Your House

The First Ever WWF In Your House Wrestling Bios Presents - The First Ever WWF In Your House Show

When Eric Bischoff took over WCW, one of the things he done on his road to success was the creation of more monthly pay per views. As it turned out, fans were more than happy to spend money on additional shows, and the WWF took notice. Vince McMahon decided to create the In Your House series of pay per views, a series of shows that would run bi-monthly between the WWF's other "big" PPV offerings. In Your House would be cheaper than a regular PPV, and it would also run for a shorter time.

The first In Your House is quite peculiar. The show was centered around a competition to win a house, with hosts Todd Pettiengill and Stephanie Wiand frequently reminding us that someone would win a new home during the broadcast. Bret Hart worked 2 matches during the show, Razor Ramon worked a 2 vs 1 match, and Big Daddy Cool Diesel main evented the show with Sid.

This video takes a look at the very first In Your House (which has been retroactively named "In Your House: Premiere"). Topics covered include:
