Plot -
The surviving expeditionaries and diggers return to Cairo after their experiences in the desert and reside in Fort Brydon, the British military outpost within Cairo. In Fort Brydon, Evelyn begins packing her trunk with clothes so as to return to Hamunaptra, but O'Connell tries to persuade her to do otherwise.
