Your workouts are suffering if you don't apply this one law while programming and setting your specific modes! Have you ever gone to the gym for an extended period and seen moderate improvements to your PR's, core lift's, and general fitness? That's probably because you are not staggering your workouts around the Law of Specificity. It's a simple equation, you need to make sure your workouts are geared to be targeting specific areas of your body without adding mileage and make sure you are giving your body a new and ever-changing environment to grow in. Without applying this to your workouts you are going to lose gains and plateau yourself into a hole that few can escape from, along with hurting your body and adding big pain points.

For example, when you are squatting you need to be changing the type of squat you use to be sure that the body can't become efficient in what you are doing. This is taking into account the Law of Accommodation which states: "Your body will always try to find a shortcut when building muscle and will become better at the exercise by using either wrong muscle groups, poor form, or worse getting strong in only one area." YOU WANT TO SEE GAINS and we want you to as well. So being sure you are taking this law into consideration will change your workouts for the better and get your lifting results back on the right track!!!

So what if you want to see your bench press improve or want get general strength up while pressing? Well, have you ever incorporated tempo into your workout? How about adding chaotic weights like a hanging kettlebell or chains to make sure your body has to stabilize the weight and improve lateral muscle gain? Have you given bands a shot? All of these small changes in the mode of movement give your body a new and improved environment to grow, stopping your body to accommodate while still being specific in a pressing workout. See what we're doing here? It's all about how much you know, not how much you lift!
