We teach that each person is a unique beloved expression of God created in the image and likeness of God and therefore born with sacred worth. We believe the love, light, presence and the power of God, known by many different names by different religions, philosophies and teachings of the world, also indwells each one of us. And we refer to this presence and power for good which indwells us (Luke 17:21) as the “Christ within.”
