A showcase run with heavy modding of *.ba2 textures and an extensive mod suite to enhance gameplay and game presentation. Setup: Ryzen 1700, RX 580 8 Gb, 16 GB 3.0 GHz GSkill Ram, some basic Kingston SSD. Preset - slightly modified Ultra setup, SS threads 15, IDEK threads 10 (follow the guide below).
40 + hrs gameplay, two CTDs so far, some animation glitches, but overall pretty impressive performance and stability.
Want to get the same or similar effect? Here is what you need to do, buuut... Be aware that:
- modding itself will take around 5-6 hrs with NMM, MO2 or Vortex
- please account for download times or/and manual installations
- be aware that merged files from BRB are modpacks, so if you want to add something, first check his full mod info whether it hadn't been covered by those
1) Follow this guide: (Both 1. and 2. texture packs).
2) Install and activate following mods that are missing from abovementioned guide, according to the belowmentioned modlist
3) bashpatch with Wrye at the end
4) disable F4 autoupdates (on steam choose: "only update when I launch the game")
5) launch via F4SE - steam won't consider such a lauch as one that counts towards updating
