Today's video examines 3 ways to improve your bounding ability. We use British Triple Jumper Benjamin Williams (@benjump18) as a perfect demonstration!

1. PUSH into your take-off - as bounding covers distance, an aggressive push into take-off gives you that last little bit of required kinetic energy potential to cover distance!

2. Arm Strikes with the Foot - this simultaneous strike creates a more substantial muscular impulse.

3. TALL Torso - as continual forward momentum is required, a collapsed torso (or overly flexed hip) creates a need for additional ground contact time. This extra time on the ground produces braking forces that slow you down. The taller posture controls your centre of mass and allows the jump to function much more reactively in nature.
