Low Platelets, Causes and Differentials

Thrombocytopenia, Low Platelets. It is found in mixed deficiency anemia, infections, HUS, Leukemia, Aplastic anemia, TTP, ITP. Treatment requires treatment of the underlying cause. Eltrombopag is helpful in some cases.
