Mysterious ring on Google nest doorbell ends up being a squirrel

My wife works from home and she called me in a panic. In my neighborhood, there were plenty of break-ins. A lot of them start with someone rigning your doorbell. If there is no one home, they go to your back yard and break in the patio door. So around 12:30, the doorbell rang. My wife checked through the door window but there was no one there. No person, no car.

So she calls me at work to see if can check the history of the last few minutes using Google nest. I got the video and started laughing without end.

I have a garbage can in front of the doorbell and naturally squirrels like to go inside to search for scraps. Would you believe the squirrel rang the doorbell with his nose while sniffing around? You can see the squirrel looking around after it hit the doorbell. Like...what was that?
