Rohan Ramblings 19: in which Gryfflet has had just about enough of Reeve Athelward

On JRRT's 128th birthday, Gryfflet was hoping to shake the dirt of Cliving from his boots but it was not to be. He takes out his disgruntlement on the Orcs infesting the Norcrofts while attempting to foment revolution among the locals. He is very happy to move on and meet Elfmar whose father he met previously; he is also happy to meet up with Horn, Nona and Corudan again.

"Orcs to kill and totems to smash, and things like that!"
"Hey, look at that, I turned around without going over the cliff!"
"Haglob? Oh, Haglob the Troll! I think so!"
"That was a slightly long diversion and I don't regret it!"
"Hope you don't get in trouble for that from your Evil Overlord!"
"Whoa, OK! That's not the view I was hoping for!"
"…or I'll just fall into the river, alternatively…"
"Yay, I made it…to somewhere besides Cliving!"
"Good on you, man! Would you be interested in joining a coup I'm trying to arrange?"
"Are you just idly curious about this?"

Lore discussed this week included likely events after the Destruction of the Ring, which touched upon the touchy subject of Orcish redemption, and some very old Elves indeed, with minor mention of Rohirric attitudes towards Elves. As someone says in the chat, "Is there any other stream anywhere where the host fights trolls and discusses the Augustinian worldview? I think not"
