Top 10 Reasons NOT to Move to Japan

Top 10 Reasons NOT to Move to Japan This is just my personal opinion, so I'm sorry if I'm missing something or wrong. And I'm not saying you cannot move to Japan. But I think these could be the reasons you shouldn't move here. Let's acknowledge the bad aspect of Japan, not just good one.

[Summary:]
- No.10 Weather (Too hot humid summer, cold apartment/building in Japan and a lot of natural disasters.)
- No.9 Having a pet is difficult (especially if you live in a small apartment in a big city)
- No.8 Smoking (Many places allow people to smoke inside.)
- No.7 Job-Hopping is not common (as much as Canada or the US.)
- No.6 Unnecessary overtime work
- No.5 People don’t have willingness to fix the social issues (so they’re likely to remain even after many years.)
- No.4 Japanese are fake nice (Honne/Tatemae)
- No.3 Japanese don’t get sarcasm (I had no idea about that kind of humor before living in Canada)
- No.2 Hard to make ‘real’ friends (at least native Japanese friends)
- No.1 Separation between Japanese and non-Japanese
