Hyun Bin has been popular since his school days.
In a past interview with 'THE SECRET,' several of Hyun Bin's school friends sat down to reveal what Hyun Bin -- Kim Taepyung, at the time -- was like in his school days. Even before his debut, it turned out that Hyun Bin had been popular thanks to his visuals.
An upperclassman of Hyun Bin revealed, "I once rode the same bus as him. There were a lot of girls who had been waiting for him. Once they saw Taepyung, they took the bus." He continued, "When I praised Taepyung that he was so popular, his face turned red. He is a shy guy."
Another friend, who attended the same school from elementary to senior high, said, "When in high school, Taepyung had a fan club. I heard it from a friend who attended a female high school. She said that the biggest fan club was for 'OPPA,' the second was for Taepyung, while the third and fourth were for H.O.T and Untitle."
One of Hyunbin's classmates also added, "He was so popular for his handsome face. There was no one in the area that didn't know who he was."
