The Bajaj Chetak is the first e-scooter from a mainstream manufacturer. It has a range of 85km in Sport mode and 95km in Eco mode.

Bajaj has entered the electric two-wheeler space with its Chetak e-scooter. It is powered by a 4.08kW, 16Nm electric motor that propels it to a speedo-indicated top speed of 69kmph. The 2.89kWh lithium-ion battery pack allows it to cover a claimed 85km in Sport mode and 95km in Eco mode.
The Chetak is also packed with features like keyless operation, full-LED lighting, fully digital instrumentation and a reverse function. The scooter is currently available in Bengaluru and Pune but sales will expand to nearly 400 ProBiking (KTM) dealerships across the country by July. It is priced at Rs 1.00 lakh for the Urbane variant and Rs 1.15 lakh for the Premium variant (both prices ex-showroom). For more details, head to
