Concern over US airports' use of facial recognition technology Privacy advocates are concerned over the use of facial recognition cameras in several US airports.

At least 27 airports across the country have implemented the facial recognition technology which is receiving mixed reactions from airline customers.

Custom and Border Protection officials said the process of being scanned takes less than two seconds and has a 99 per cent matching rate.
