Mi Feng, spokesperson for China’s National Health Commission said on Friday afternoon that the number of dead from an outbreak of novel coronavirus had risen to more than 200, with the number of infections continuing to rise as it spreads to every Chinese region. The outbreak, which is believed to have originated in the Hubei provincial capital of Wuhan, prompted the World Health Organization (WHO) to declare a public health emergency of international concern on Thursday.
