Stop Discriminating Against Chinese Travelers

In the wake of the coronavirus, more countries are issuing outright travel bans on all Chinese nationals, regardless of whether or not they’ve even been inside China recently. This, to me, seems like taking advantage of an opportunity to discriminate against Chinese people.

Nowadays the media are portraying Chinese people in the worst possible light.

If you encounter a Chinese traveler outside of China, remember that it's their country that’s suffered the worst damage from this situation, and any inconvenience you’re experiencing as a traveler in the Asia region probably pales in comparison to what they’re experiencing.

This is a time to empathize with and help Chinese travelers, not be racist toward them.
