In the process of doing something new, is trying something, practicing something new, and getting your trial & error on.
This is a tribute to the process and the practice of going for it.
When I record my videos, I always do test videos for lighting, marking, composition, audio, and my face.
In this mash-up of test videos I just laughed out loud at myself and how ridiculous and really fun the process and practice of sharing your wisdom, or lack there of with others can be.
This video is a toast to you! The person nervous that it will be fulfilling whatever fear you have of sharing the thing you want to share with others. I give this to everyone wanting to try and at the same time afraid of probably perfection, combined with a comparison to someone else doing it well. Someone's content that has inspired you to emulate. When I see the videos of people that inspire me, I now have a deeper appreciation for their expertise and how long they've been doing it before they got my attention.
Be kind to yourself as you try something new. Still try. Give it a shot.
This video prep mash-up is for a video I made after stopping for a few months to gather my purpose.
The final video is worse than this but expresses the trying of things, the throwing in of towels, the giving up on something that seemed like a great idea and turned out not to be, and the giving up to try something else that will be new too.
I encourage you to try.
I'm trying and even in the launching, pre-launching really of my coaching practice I hesitate, fumble, make mistakes, and when I look back, I continue to smile and laugh so even if this is all for myself, I'm thankful for the platform and resources to be ridiculous if it is only to show others that what they put out there will kick butt.
