Sälen is one of Sweden's best-loved resorts, consisting of four ski areas: Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället. The ski areas offer everything from northern Europe's largest interconnecting button lift area to one of Sweden's steepest prepared pistes. Trollskogen, the enchanted forest located up in the ski area Hundfjället and most easily accessible via the button lifts, features trees, wood trolls and all sorts of characters that are brought to life through light and sound.

Trysil - Norway's largest ski resort - is built around the Trysilfjellet mountain and famed for its well-groomed slopes. There are both lodgings and restaurants within skiing distance. Luxury hotels and modern lifts make holidaying here comfortable for the whole family.

Valle the snowman is the children’s best friend on the ski slopes. He is in all our ski resorts and offers everything from skiing, music, dance to fun activities every day.

Skiing in Sweden and Norway - 150 days of skiing a year
SkiStar's Scandinavian ski destinations are located in northern Scandinavia, where the conditions are perfect for a long winter season with lots of snow and skiing.
Our season often starts as early as the end of November, when you can enjoy powder skiing on floodlit slopes, and ends at the beginning of May, when the spring sun shines brightly and it may be warm enough to ski in just a T-shirt.

Scandinavian Mountains Airport
Scandinavian Mountains Airport is located on the Swedish-Norwegian border, just 10 minutes from Sälen and 40 minutes from Trysilfjellet. Scandinavian Mountains Airport will open its doors to the world in December 2019. Welcome!
