DataBaaz | Creating Awareness On Immunization Through Gameplay

Around 40% of children in Bihar are not fully immunised. Lack of awareness about vaccines in the community puts the burden of getting children immunise, on the already overburdened health workers in the villages.

So how do we create awareness on vaccines among communities? In Bihar's Dalsingsarai, a local NGO, Innovators In Health, is using gameplay to do that. They have modified the popular board game of Snakes and Ladders into a game on immunisation to give information on at-birth vaccines and the diseases they prevent.
